Refreshes are suddenly failing where they've been set up by users through a gateway, with the following error appearing: ServerError_DMTS_MonikerDatasourcesNotFoundErrorCode And going into the gateway to reset them, the users are getting the following message. Users do have access and permission to the gateways, but only Admins seem to be able to reset the gateways now. Since February 26, 2025, the traffic light colors in my published Power BI report are no longer displayed. The traffic lights appear black, whereas they show correctly in Power BI Desktop. These KPIs have remained unchanged for the past three years and were added via Tabular Editor 2 as 'Traffic Light - Single' status graphics.   It seems that the recent update to the Power BI Service Gateway (February 2025) may be affecting the display of the KPIs in the published report. Hello everybody,   Maybe somebody has already had a similar problem and knows how to solve this. Our IT Department has been looking at it for the past two days.   I had created Power Point Presentations that have a connection to a PowerBI Report. The connection/loading has always worked but not anymore. Now It says loading but nothing appears and after a while Power Point just shuts down. If I open Power Point in the cloud and open my presentation everything is loading correctly.  Of course the add in is installed in Power Point. There are also no updates outstanding. It is loading normally with the users who I have granted access to the PowerBI Report. If another user with the same rights logs on to my computer it is also is not wokring. On theirs it is. I seriously don't get it because all rights and licenses are being managed similarly globally. I assume it is my computer. But what could it be? Is there a box unchecked? We are an enterprise Power BI Premium customer with 4 Power BI Premium Capacities.  We have been experiencing issues over the past week where datasets will get stuck refreshing and we are unable to cancel.  It says "canceling".  We've tried rebooting the gateways, switching capacities,  but refreshes are stuck. Can't even manually refresh in PBI desktop and publish over.  Yes we're on a supported version of the on-premise data gateway.  We opened a Microsoft ticket, just posting to see, is anyone else experiencing this?   ... I have a long-standing connection to databricks, using a cloud connection in the online service, connecting to a Unity-catalog. All refreshes failed today with the error: Expression.Error: The provided options are not valid.. {"DefaultTypeParameters"}. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. My data engineers and I have been going round in circles on this for the last 6 hours. Nothing has been changed, and every single report is failing if it connects to Databricks. Following on from this Forum post https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Service/ServerError-DM-GWPipeline-Gateway-MonitoredDbConnectionError/m-p/4212486 (Please see that post for relevant logfile snippets)   After upgrading the gateway to the latest version, roughly 1/3 of all Direct Query queries are reporting error ServerError_DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MonitoredDbConnectionError in BI Service. From what I've been able to determine, it happens to all reports that use Direct Query, regardless of the direct query data source.   The only connection we can find is that all the errors are using Direct Query. Was wondering if anyone is facing this issue? For all my Pro Workspaces, I cannot seem to edit the dataflow settings as they're all grayed out.    They are going on about their pre scheduled refreshs properly as they should. I am also able to make edits in Datasets for pro workspaces. But cannot seem to make changes in pro dataflow. My Premium workspaces (via PPU) are working just fine.      ... View more

Since the Power BI Feb 2024 release, all of the reports in our workspaces have had this SSL error: "The server name provided does not match the server name on the SQL Server SSL certificate ... " Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden this error showed up across our workspaces   Some notes and highlights: We use Azure sql databases No credentials were changed before this error occured and none have changed since I have double checked the credentials and the server names match both in the desktop and in the service The error occurs both on desktop and in the service We connect through a sql privatelink (servername.privatelink.database.windows.net) and use a VNET data gateway That gateway has not changed We tried disconnecting from the VNET data gateway and using an on-prem gateway, no luck connecting either We can connect to our Azure sql dbs with any other method directly in SSMS through excel In web apps we use Any idea what could be going on?   Thank you! ... October and November 2024 releases of On-Premises gateway are not working with Azure Databricks.  The error from the logs: ODBC: ERROR [IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error  126: The specified module could not be found. I have simplified the problem by passing only one measure to the Power Automate visual and one select action after the "On Power BI button clicked". I get the desired single-line output when I select "Show as table" on the visual menu with no null values. But when I run the flow, the data gets lost, and the "On Power BI button clicked" output is only an empty array, { }, entity. Since I have a Null value in the first step, the Power BI data in the dynamic content is also NULL, hence the input error in the Select action. I do not know what is happening, as I have used the Power Automate Visual many times successfully. I am logged on using my company's email address and the company's default environment. Hi, I am trying to create a On-Premise data gateway(Standard) on an Azure VM or my local machine, which is connected to the on prem SQL server via a VPN. I have tried reinstalling the on-premise gateway multiple times on different machines, and always get this after installing.   All the documents and videos show this instead:   The permissions I have are:   In Microsoft Fabric: The gateway is not listed on Fabric, can't find it on Gateway Cluster name dropdown either.   Is there any solution to this?     ... Hello Team,   My Power Bi dataset is not getting refreshed from yesterday. I have found out the issue is with Dataset that contains the Power Bi Dataflow (Legacy) connection sources.   It is throwing the error as "Access token has expired, resubmit with a new access token.". However, there is no issue when we go ahead with Power Bi desktop refresh.   The issue is not only with one dataset. The issue reasons are changing time to time.
