We have just updated to the latest version (March 2025), and the issue still remains! The only way we have found to "fix" this, is to replace the Spark folder in the error message (C:\Program Files\On-premises data gateway\m\ODBC Drivers\New\Spark) with the Spark driver folder from C:\Program Files\On-premises data gateway\m\ODBC Drivers\Simba Spark ODBC Driver (renaming it to "Spark" in the new location). October and November 2024 releases of On-Premises gateway are not working with Azure Databricks. The error from the logs: ODBC: ERROR [IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126: The specified module could not be found. (Simba Spark ODBC Driver New, C:\Program Files\On-premises data gateway\m\ODBC Drivers\New\Spark\SparkODBC_sb64.dll). The Power BI On-Premises Gateway has the same issue. Will this also be fixed? Anonymous BTW, this issue exists in Sept/Oct distributions of PBI Gateway, where it tries to use a "New" folder for the drivers.1.4KViews0likes0Comments
