Paginated Reports - Page navigation bar not working when parameters are null

Hello, we have been having an issue with Paginated Reports on PBI over the last few days, after some testing i can confirm the behavior is as follows:   If a paginated reports has a parameter that's nullable, the navigation bar at the top will freeze and make it impossible to change pages.   When the parameter has a value, it is possible to navigate between pages. It's a known issue , the ICM ID is 326798180 and the ETA_for_Fix is 8/13/2022 . Please confirm that whether your issue is fixed .

Slicer Bug dropdown switches to list when Report is published

I am reporting a similar bug to the issue rasied in March 2019 https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Slicer-switches-from-Dropdown-to-List-when-using-Bookmarks-looks/idi-p/653064   The difference is I am not using bookmarks. I am using Desktop Version: 2.74.5619.621 64-bit (October 2019).   Other solutions to this issue such as switching off the visual header or editing the slicer in Power BI Service have not resolved the bug.   When I edit the slicer in Power BI Service and change it from List to Dropdown it looks fine until I save the Report and switch back to reading mode. Pop up windows are blank

Starting from this second half of March, we noticed that pop up windows appear grey or blank on the screen, at least at the second time of trying any feature that relies on pop up windows. Power BI Version: 2.103.661.0 64-bit (March 2022)   In this example I wanted to edit the field for the constant line on a visualization. No problem for the first one, but for the 2nd one the pop up is grey. Pressing ESC closes the window and I can keep working on the report but without access to any feature that relies on pop up windows.     The only way to fix this is to close and reopen the pbix file, which is super annoying obviously. ... Unable to Export more than 15 Pages

Power BI service: Permissions in several workspaces suddenly not visible anymore

I and some colleages (PRO-licence) have admin-access to all workspaces in our company via one and the same AD security group. Suddenly, today in half of the workspaces the permissions are not visible anymore for us. Moreover, the workspaces in which the permissions are not visible anymore differ from colleage to colleage. For example: I can see the permissions in workspace A & B, but not in C & D. My colleage can see the permissions in A & C, but not in B & D and another colleage can see permissions in A, but not in B, C & D. However we are granted the admin-role via the same security group.   The permissions did not change and work well (tested with some endusers).   It is not the first time we mentioned this behaviour. Power BI Desktop not loading past main splash screen

Power BI Desktop worked fine through Monday (7/19), but now it won't work anymore because starting yesterday, the application won't load. The application will show the main splash screen--the yellow bar chart logo--and the Untitled report would begin loading in the background (I've tried opening an existing PBIX file, too) but the application wouldn't load. Meanwhile, I watched in Task Manager as my RAM usage shot up to 99% and stayed near there, causing the rest of my system to suffer from low memory. I've tried reinstalling, repairing, and switching to the x64 desktop version (I'm using the Power BI Desktop application from the Microsoft Store).  Is anyone else having this issue? ... View more

Persistent Filtering and Bookmarks Error

Since the "Persistent Filtering" feature was released a few months ago, my bookmarks that adjust visual selection (a.k.a visibility) is messed up.   Persistent Filtering will persist everything EXCEPT the visibility of an object. This is not with custom visuals!    For example, if I have two bookmarks.  The first bookmark hides a slicer and the second shows the slicer. If I left the report  having last selected the bookmark that shows the slicer, then when I return the slicer will be hidden (if the default is the bookmark that hides the slicer). This screws up the functionality of the report when other things are being configured by a bookmark, and so bascially part of the bookmark is persisted, but visibility (a.k.a selection) is not.   ... Default newly published reports to NOT be included in the app.

Not publishing to the app by default is much more efficient.  when publishing test files, one must remember to go back and exclude them from the app.  This can result in major problems with files under test being published to customers.  If the service defaulted to NOT including publiushed items in the app (or even gave an option?) a lot of this heartache could be avoided.  It's a much lower risk problem not publishing a report to an audience than reporting the wrong thing. ... You may try :

1. Check your internet connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection as this error message can sometimes be caused by network issues.

2. Clear your browser cache: Clearing your browser cache can help to resolve issues with loading elements of the app. To do this, go to your browser settings and clear your cache.

3. Check your app permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access the app.

Sorting within Treesize chart does not work

BUG - Scatter plot X and Y constant lines are not displayed in PBI Service

Hi,   I noticed that the X & Y constant lines which can be set in the 'Analytics' of Scatter Plot visualization started to NOT work last March 8, 2021 (last checked working on March 6, 2021).   Here are my observations: PBI Desktop is able to display the constant line When pubished into workspace in PBI service, the constant line is not displayed                                           Please let me know how else I can help to describe the bug.   Thanks! Google sheet data download stopped working today

I use  google sheets links in a number of my reports and as of this morning I got the same error message that they weren't automatically updated . After further inspection (in PBI desktop) I found out that these connection don't download data they are supposed to but some gibberish in html (I attach the picture). I tried the links and when I put them in browser they work correctly as they download what PBI is supposed to but doesn't. I need an urgent help, thanks.   ... View more

Field Descriptions Disappearing (Power BI Desktop)

I've noticed that when I refresh my dataset, it clears out any descriptions that I have setup for my standard fields (non-measures). Can I get this issue corrected or can somebody help me figure out a way to retain those values regardless of the dataset being refreshed or not? I'm currently on this version of Power BI Desktop. ... Dear Teams,    My few reports recently are lost the images i inserted in and Lost the Color Background.  the background turn Black while i used Red,  It looks okay on the power BI service and desktop , but severely not okay on Publich link embaded.  Anyone can help me how to settle this ? Printing Still Not Working After November Service Update and Latest Fix Release

The printing issue included in the release of the November Service update where all pages appear blank affected our business. We have been informed that it is now resolved and it has been removed from the Awareness section of the support status page. However we are still unable to print some reports as the layout is wildly affected. For example one report page being printed generates 10 pages, 9 of which are plain grey. On another the main matrix visual appears with the row labels separated to the rest of the visual and overlaid across other parts of the report, making it illegible. Also the dimensions are thrown out because of this, making the text too small to read once printed. This is affecting a report that needs to be printed daily in our shops. ... View more

Unable to publish from pbip Developer Mode files

Once you split a file into the pbip project developer mode you can NOT publish your work to the PBI service. You can only resave your work as a standard pbix file and publish it that way.   ... View more

Publish is disabled while this feature is in PREVIEW. You can either use Fabric Git Integration to publish your work, or save as a PBIX to publish.
