I am trying to share a Dashboard I created with a recipient outside of our organization. It worked fine a couple weeks ago. She tried to sign in today and could not access. I had her upgrade to a free pro trial and it still does not work. When she clicks on the link, which I have provided to her, she just sees a blank gray screen. Please advise.

Hello, I currently have the Power BI Pro trial activated. I shared my dashboard with an external client who also has the Power BI Pro trial activated. However, he is not able to access the dashboard. He has logged out, logged in, cleared cookies, tried on a different browser, etc. No dice. He has a blank gray screen with the Power BI header, and nothing else. Please help!

Hi Following the changes on 1st June, several of our users who logged in within the timeframe to be eligible for the 12 month trial are reporting that they only get the 60-day option. Please could someone confirm what I can do about this? Thanks

When you add charts to a dashboard, they are automatically excluded from mobile view. This means that once you have updated, you have to click on Mobile view and then click reset tiles, or they won't show up. This takes extra time and is uneccesary.

Hi there, since today I have noticed a message that only Pro Members can access my Dashboards. This is a big issue now, as most of the people who should see those dashboards have a free lizence. Does anybody know why this changed over night? Thank you in advanced Best Lina

It is a common practice to pin one tile, and then change some of the parameters to change the output, and then pin that chart. This way you get two charts for the price of one in your dashboards. This is especially usefull when trying to manage several dashboards from one report, or trying to limit the number of PBIX files and tabs that you have to maintain. However this doesn not work with a pinned live page as the report filter does not carry through to the pinned tile. All live tiles are pinned as-is and applied filteres are not carried through. This means that you have to make multiple copies of the PBIX file and save them individually in order to take advantage of the live pinned tile. This is greatly increases the amount of tedious management of reports and dashboards. An improvement would be to retain filters in pinned live tiles.

Hi, We are using the Power BI phone app to view both reports (formatted for phone view) and dashboards. When viewing a dashboard on a phone, we are having a problem with data on the left getting slightly cut off (ie, 8s look like 3s). It is not cut off when viewing the same data tiles as a report. Other details: - Browser is Mac / Chrome - Only happens in dashboard view - In dashboard view, it cuts off on every page viewed Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Sally

Hi All, I’m currently experiencing a weird issue with my PowerBi Admin account. Essentially we had an issue with our Azure AD Sync that deleted a few live email accounts including my Admin account for PowerBI. Now this account has about 150 Dashboards associated with it, and would take a great deal of time to recreate. At this point the Dashboards are still running however I’m unable to login as the admin. So to my question if we recreate the account with the same username, email address and password will I be able to login as usual and make changes to the admin account or will the dashboards be deleted or perhaps will they remain and not be able to be change as the accounts are actually separate? We have also contacted 365 support throght the Admin center and they have dirrected me here, as they have little knowledge of PowerBI Thanks in advance for your help,

HI all, We are facing the following issues in the power bi Power BI Scheduled Refresh is not working as expected. There is a delay in refreshing data and sometimes dashboards not refreshing for certain users. Even if datasets are refreshing, Dashboards tiles and reports are not refreshing automatically. We are using the enterprise data gateway connected to an SSAS ROLAP model. When we manually click the "Refresh" button on the reports, the visuals update Users are unable to navigate from Dashboards to reports and warning is being displayed. This is happening intermittently and is not coming on daily basis How does an end user know the data refresh happens in underlying dataset? For the same dashboard, certain users getting data and certain users getting an error. “We can't load the content of this tile. Please delete it and try repining

Unable to export data from the top righ tcorner of any of the visuals. Tried multiple reports and on different browsers. Error doesn't give any useful information and simply asks to try again later.

Can we create multiple apps from same workspce infact from same Dataset without replicating the dataset multiple times. As am tying to do only option i get is to update the app and only one app per workspce can be created, their should be some way around.

I have a pbix file which is about 440mb, having a connection to mssql database, when i try to publish, i am always having this error as below, i have tried removing auto date time option which was suggested in other forums but still doesnt work. Please advise

Hi everybody. We have been struggling to get the PowerBI usage metrics working since the feature was first released. This has become extra important as our project matures and we need to justify the licensing cost of PowerBI. I have been granted access to the PowerBI admin portal and can manage the tenate settings. But when I click on the "Usage metrics" tab it says "Please hold on while we load a few things". Then the spash screen goes away and we just see this grey screen with no content. Is there any configuration that you think I might be missing to get this working? Our content is all served up from ssas tabular via and enterprise gateway. Thank you.

Is there any possibility to modify the date column labels (year ,month,day) instead of creating new column. We have report with two date column and its difficult for user to understand which date signifies which column.

Hi, I have a dashboard with multiple file connected to Excel file with data models, sitting on onedrive for business. These files have pivot charts. One of the tile shows the preview of this chart, however the other tile only shows a gray colored band. what may be going worng with the tile not showing the pivot chart preview ? How can this be corrected? regards Lalit

i have shared all my dashboards through a group. my internal users w pro trial accounts are telling me that it is asking them to purchase pro to view the dashboard. then it takes them to a subcription page to choose a plan. there is an option to try pro for free, and it routes then back to the account... however the pro does not renew and they are still being asked to upgrade. is the viewing pro from a group a pay only feature now?

Hi, I have a dashboard with mulitple tiles. When I click one of the tiles, that is conencted to a excel file on onedrive for business, the excel online view has stopped showing the refreshed view, of this file. The underlying Excel worksheet, on the onedrive for business, however is refreshing fine. Upon launching the rich Excel client view from the stale online Excel view, the refeshed uptodate view is shown correctly. Please guide me what me be happening incorrectly ? Regards Lalit
