I spent a couple hours working on a dataflow then tried to save it. Power BI wasn't happy about something so the save was unsuccessful, but then when trying to edit the table in question I received the error message:   "There was a problem opening your dataflow. Operation could not complete because a newer version of this dataflow was saved since you started editing."   ... However the save wasn't successful so there wasn't a newer version for me to access. I can't click on any action on any table or do anything at all to the dataflow without receiving that error message. I tried to create a new dataflow in the same workspace and it let me load the unsaved dataflow again, however I had the same issue there with not being able to save it or edit it.   I will obviously be saving as I go from now on, however I wanted to flag this bug as I imagine it has caused/will cause others strife too. ... Hi,   We use Windows Information Protection (WIP) with our SharePoint installation (effectively encrypting all files on a user's computer that is synced with a SharePoint site). When attempting to open any PBIX file that is saved on SharePoint, we run across this error "ExecuteXmla failed with result". We have to save this file locally, un-encrypt, edit, then overwrite back onto SharePoint. As an Intune Administrator, we have setup PowerBI to be WIP Protected and have confirmed via Task Manager that PBIDesktop.exe runs in the enterprise context. See below for the XMLA error and system details. We've also setup the app.powerbi.com as an allowed site to the network boundary for WIP.   I've seen several posts that say that all ExecuteXmla errors should be resolved by updating PowerBI to the latest version. I'm on the october release and am facing this issue. Furthermore, this is the only support/guidance given by the troubleshooting guide for opening "encrypted files" in PowerBI. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-error-launching-desktop     NOTE: I cannot upload an example of an encrypted file protected by WIP - my system will not allow me to do so. Hello,   I've recently come across an instance where our landing page (the first page in navigation which the app defaults to) has a visual that works fine when accessing the app or the link to that page directly. We recently posted a report that we hid from navigation but are wanting to send the link out (telling folks the report will be available effective in a date in the near future.) This bumps people back to the landing page, which is the behavior we would want, but the visual errors out in this case.
