Hi, I have one calendar table (french). 12 month : Janvier, Février... Décembre An integer column [1..12] : 12 values janvier = 1 février = 2... etc. All was working fine and I never had any "duplicate value ..." error message when trying to Sort a column by another one. The slider mouseover-area has issues when setting a slicer style as "Between" and turning off the Responsive -setting behind Advanced options. When using this kind of slicer, the mouseover-area for the slider is to the right from the selection bar. This also causes an issue, when trying to select values at the end of the slider, you are not able to adjust the ending value. Here's a gif-video about the issue: The issue appears in both Desktop and in the PowerBI Service. I'm using the latest version of the Desktop (the issue has been visible in previous versions also) 2.128.952.0 64-bit (April 2024) in Windows 11 (22H2 22621.3296)

Dear all, Recently the mobile layout is updated with interactive function, however the background of the mobile layout now stays in White color regardless what canvas color or wallpaper you choose in Power BI Desktop view. I have tried on few different PCs and Pbix files they all return the same white background issues since all my reports are in Black background with white font. Would be gladful if this is verified as a bug and can be fixed as we are unable to publish the report now as it will ruin the mobile layout view of users. Thanks!

I have a barchart with small multiples. I have turned off shared Y axis and enabled scale to fit. I have an ongoing issue where one of the Y axis labels will vanish, and it only comes back temporarily if i click the plot and resize it. See my image, the top left Y axis values are not shown:

I am currently using Power BI to connect to an Excel workbook with a live connection. The workbook contains data that I summarize using Power BI. While this process works smoothly on Windows, I am facing difficulties when attempting to refresh the data in Excel on my Mac. Specifically, when I click on "Data" > "Refresh All" in Excel on my Mac, the worksheet remains blank, and I do not see the expected output rows that I see on Windows. Here are some additional details: The live connection between Power BI and Excel is established without any errors in window. I have verified that the data source is accessible and up-to-date. Enabled the External Data Connection both in Mac and Window I have tried troubleshooting this issue by restarting both Power BI and Excel, as well as checking for any updates, but the problem persists. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide to help resolve this issue and ensure that I can successfully summarize data in Excel with a live connection on my Mac.

need to connect (local) Power BI, through On-premises data gateway (cloud), to MS SQL server (on bussiness server) I managed to connect Cloud Power BI to bussiness SQL server through Data Gateway, but when i try to do the same on my laptops using my power platform credentials, ssl error appears DataSource.Error: Microsoft SQL: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. Hi all, I haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, so maybe it's an error on my side, however, there seems to be a bug in the formatting pane for (at least) slicers, when it comes to (de-)selecting the shadow option in effects. Specifically, toggling the switch on/off does not effect the requested change in the visual. In order to make it work, you need to first toggle the background option (also found in the effects menu) off (or perhaps on, but I'm using a .json theme file, which always toggles it on by default), after which it will effect the next change in the shadows on/off option. I'm just curious if anyone can confirm this bug, or that it's just me. Cheers

I have updated to the most recent Power BI version (2.127.1327.0) last week. I have multiple clustered column charts where the x-axis shows Month and Day and only January and February when I filter the report by Quarter 1 (it doesn't matter which year I filter by as well). The data itself shows month and year which I have set for the date format but the labels are only showing month and day for January and February. Hi Community, I am having issues refreshing a report that uses a Google BigQuery data source. The refresh was working until early March 2024 when we suddendly got the error message below without doing any change to underlying report or the data pipeline. It should be noted that the there is no reference to the term "ITBL" in any of the queries in the report. Strangely, I am able to refresh the data in the February 2024 version of Power BI, but not in the March 2024 version of Power Bi, nor in the Power BI hosted workspace. This leads me to believe that there was an update within Power BI that is causing this issue. Has anyone experienced this issue before or knows how to address it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please note that I originally posted this issue in another board but was advised to move here. I am not intentinally cross postting. Regards

I just lost half a days work when I was ready to apply all changes I made in the Query Editor. Before I were about to apply my changes, I noticed the mixed model was still based on an older version of the Direct Query source. I went to change my Direct Query source, just after it started to apply all changes (and also started to load all edited power query queries), I decided I first needed to delete a duplicate table in the local model, to prevent having to wait twice for all changes to be loaded. What happened next is that Power BI Desktop deleted all my changes in the Power query queries. This is a very annoying bug, that has cost me a lot of time just now. At the same time, it is quite a specific scenario that probably doesn't happen too often. So my steps: 1. Opened and worked on a mixed mode report (a report where the direct query source had also previously undergone extensive changes not yet reflected in this model). 2. Made a lot of changes in Power Query queries (the local part of the model) 3. Changed my Direct Query source to the same source, hoping to load all the recent changes. 4. Cancelled the data load when it started At this point I saw all my work in the Direct Query editor being reset to the way it was when I first opened the report this morning. It would be nice to have this fixed. Cheers, Niels
