This is becoming a very big pain point for me.... It is crucial that my colors stay consistent throughout my report, However, the colors will change in the service!!   Below image shows what I have set in Desktop.       Below shows what is in the Service. Even when I try to re-publish my desktop report. The colors won't match. I have to completely delete the report from my service, then publish. And even then it only lasts a day before the colors are changed.       You will notice, it is all the same colors in both charts.... However, they are just taking different priorities.... In Desktop, I have the magenta line as top priority, but in the Service, it doesn't follow that.   Please, please, please fix this. For the last 30 minutes it has not been possible to show reports in the service. They are just loading and never finishes. I have tried with reports from different sources, so the problem is in the Power BI Service.    Can someone fix this ASAP? I'm based in northern europe. ... View more

Since this morning we are having massive difficulty publishing reports to our workspaces. There are a number of reports, both with live data sources or "presentation" ones based on static spreadsheets over various workspaces. Regardless of the data source or complexity of the models they are taking anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour or more to publish if they publish at all. We have also frequently been receiving an error saying we cannot publish to a workspace please contact the admin/owner (that would be me!) I've check and the workspace login matches my PBI login. Also logged out of both and back in again to make sure it wasn't that, also, my colleague is having the same problems and has done the same thing. The reports we're working on were the same that, yesterday, were publishing in a few minutes (let's say 3 minutes max for the most complex). I spoke to our IT guys and they haven't made any changes or noticed anything out of the ordinary and the changes we've made are little more than cosmetic so should not result in such a sharp increase in upload time. Normal behavior for a stepped matrix with more rows than currently displayed is to show the grand total as a floating row at the bottom. However, when stepped layout is turned off, so is this grand total, regardless of subtotal and per row subtotal settings. Here are screenshots showing the current behaviour (pardon the heavy redaction). The ideal behaviour would be to continue showing the grand total even in non-stepped layout. I dont know if I am aloen in this persistens issue I have.   I tend to update reprots daily and change the datasoruces to refresh  standard reports with new inputs.    When I open a report from a directory, PowerBi will save that file nt tto the directory from which it was opened (As does Excel and most other desktop apps) instead it will save the file back to the last location it used from a  previous saved report    I have to remember that PowerBi will try and do this and then "save as" to the original directory that the current report came from   When I forget , I then get reports saved in the worng directories   Can this be fixed so that PowerBI "remembers" where the current report being edited cames from and defaults to saving back to its original  location   If I am doing somehting peculiar or there is a fix for this already I would much appreciate any pointers or help as this bug can be frustrating and time wasting ...   When slicer is used to search a text and clicked on Erase, it clears the filter but not the search term. If the slicer is oepned again, it looks like all the values are restricted and adds an extra step to delete the previous search term. Is the relationships display in Desktop supposed to save the current position.  In other words, if I drag the hierarchy the way that I want, isn't it supposed to save it?  I seem to get constant issues where I clean up the display only to come back in and it is all hosed up.  Sometimes it seems to save it properly.  What am I missing? Datasets on scheduled refresh fail and give the following error on the schedule refresh page:   Before the data import for XXXXXXX finished, its data source timed out. Double-check whether that data source can process import queries, and if it can, try again.   There is no error on the refresh history, it just shows failed.  It is a different table name every day.  Refresh Now works for these datasets when I try them an hour or two later.     I believe this started after I updated to the Februrary on-prem gateway.     ... We have published reports with custom data colors on the bar charts.  As of early last week, these custom colors were showing as desired online.  At the end of April, however, they all started showing default colors instead.  In the desktop files we see the custom colors, but in the service they are the default colors, even when re-publishing.  If I try and edit the colors in the service, the color picker just forces the default color. ... Since October 24th 2022 the Microsoft version of the IBM DB2 connector returns an error on both Import and DirectQuery when working with JDEdwards on an IBM DB2 database (I haven't tried with other databases and tables). "HISMPCB0002 In BasePrimitiveConverter the SetCodePage method has been called with a invalid codepage: 937"   This goes for the Power BI Desktop October 2022 version as well as the Power BI Service. When I roll back to the PBI Desktop September version I have no errors with my report. But when I publish the report to the service, the error reappears. Unfortunately this prevents us from doing any reports on the database. With the new feature for version control, opening .pbir files on Desktop throws an error for the measures that have a trailing (extra character at the end) space in their names. Had to remove the trailing space to get rid of the error.  ... View more
