If dataflows name is too long, then some or all option icons are not showing when hovering over the name with cursor. See pic below.

Appears to be daylight savings issue according from details established on other peoples posts, listed at end. I am on Australian Eastern Server and my Time Zone is currently AEDT (Melbourne based). When Power BI receives 1st October 2017 it is changing it to 30th September 2017, this obviously is skewing results in Power BI. I have tried converting it in many forms as a workaround such as directly from text etc yyyymmdd but on preview in desktop the queries window shows correct date, however once in either Power BI desktop or app.powerbi.com the date is appearing as 30 Sept 2017. Hello, On about 10 models, where we've created "tab" like buttons using shapes to allow users to control what visuals they see, we stack buttons up against each other and have since the new shapes came out. Users click the blue "buttons" to see different visuals and a white tab will then show. We're now on. [Version: 2.98.683.0 64-bit (October 2021)]. What we've seen is that the shapes "degrade" where the left-most shape loses it's left edge. This is true for most but not all models and most but not all shapes. Strange. Here's an example of what a "tab string" starts out looking like. And here's an example after degradation. You can see the shape has lost it's left edge I've fixed all of them already once...and it's re-occured. It has degraded on both desktop and power bi services. Seems like a bug to me. Any ideas? Tom

Power BI is currently using a huge amount of time to update reports, manage security etc. The health status says, that everything is ok - but why is the slow loading not adressed? https://ideas.powerbi.com/knowledgebase/articles/668836-power-bi-service-health-status This seems to reoccur more frequently - maybe it is time to look into server capacity? My data is located in Europe.

Olá pessoal, Estou com uma situação posterior : Tenho uma fonte de dados ODBC do banco Firebird, quando requisito uma atualização dos dados no Power BI desktop, o mesmo roda perfeitamente, inclusive consigo efetuar uma publicação de relatório, no entanto, criar uma fonte de dados (servidor de relatório) dentro do meu gateway resultados nesse erro: "DMTS_PublishDatasourceToClusterErrorCode". Consigo a ajuda de vocês? Obrigado.

Hi, I have email subscriptions set up that send dashboards out to me on a daily basis. Occasionally, seemingly on random days, parts of the dashboards within the emailed image show no data when there is data in the data model, and the correct data is displayed when viewing the dashboard within Power BI itself. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? No data shown in the email, but the correct data can be seen within Power BI Thanks, Steven

I'm encountering issues when I try to connect PBIDesktop(2.49.4831.521(x64)) or import data from our Tabular SSAS model (SQL server 2016 standard edition). When I connect live to the model the project works fine for a little while, but after a few clicks it start giving the following error: Error Message: An unexpected exception occurred. OData Error Message: Failed to execute the DAX query. When I want to import data it works fine for most measures and dimensions, but for some measures I get an error: DataSource.Error: AnalysisServices: An unexpected exception occurred. Details: DataSourceKind=AnalysisServices DataSourcePath=172.xxx.xxx.xx;CubeNameXX The query that it tries to execute is = Cube.Transform(#"CubeNameXX", { {Cube.AddMeasureColumn, "Amount", "[Measures].[Amount]"} }) The srange thing is that we also use this measures in SSRS, without any issues, but after the PBI connection SSR Sdoesn't work either until we delete and recreate the measures. Than SSRS work fine, untill we again use PBI and the issue starts again. I'm out of ideas how to solve this issue, does anyone encountered such issues befor or have ideas to solve it? Many thanks!

I am constructing a report where I aim to embed Paginated Reports in Power BI Desktop. How can I automate the process of setting the data source to fetch it from the correct environment (DEV, TEST, PROD)/workspace for these Paginated Reports? Currently, I need to manually change all tabs that contain a paginated report into the right environment. Ellipsis > Edit It automatically references the DEV and I need to manually set it to TEST.

First bug: Placehoder text visible in PowerBI-settings (probably just for Free and Pro -license users): 1. Log in to PowerBI-service 2. Navigate to any workspace, My Workspace for example 3. Select Settings-gear icon and then "Manage personal storage" Bug: The button at the right, after the usage-bar shows text "UpgradeAccountPPU_TryfreeButton_Trident" Second bug: For languages other than english, a translation seems to be missing: 1. Log in to PowerBI-service 2. Make sure the language-setting is set to other than English by selecting Settings-gear icon -> General -> Select display language (for example french) 3. Select the home icon from the left Bug: The ad for upcoming learning event at the top of the screen shows: "Event_Banner_Title Event_Banner_Content" and the button says "RegisterNow" (space between words is missing)

Hello I would like the idea that allows Admin to turn on the feaure to "Exclude Hidden" Pages when exporting to PDF or Powerpoint. Currently the end user has the option to include "exclude Hidden Pages" but this option should be greyed our or removed depending in the Admin Centre Thanks Viral

Hi all, I found an error on the Jan 2024 Power Bi Server Version related to the extended customization for data labels. These are working perfect if the Y-axis is not inverted. But in case of inverted y-axis the sum of stacked columns is partially not shown at all, or in the wrong position. hope there is a bugfix availlable... #1 standard y-axis: correct data labels (totals) #2 inverted y-axis: incorrect/incomplete data labels (totals)

Please add an option to the Power BI Matrix visual to show the "Total Column" as the first column instead of the last column. For the "Row Totals" this options is already available.

Our team has encountered an issue with reports generated through Semantic Models utilizing direct Query tables to AWS Snowflake. Until last week, these reports were executing without any problems. However, recently, users have been unable to view their reports due to an error message stating, "Couldn't load the data for this visualDuplicate values are detected from data source. If it's a DirectQuery model, please make sure data source collation is consistent with this Analysis Services model." Upon investigation, we have verified that there are no duplicate values in the data source. We are reaching out to seek your advice on this matter. Additionally, we would like to inquire if there have been any recent changes in the service that might be causing this issue.

Users are able to select a "Many to Many" relationship from the Data Modeling Properties panel, even though Many to Many is not supported in Report Server and not available from the Edit Relationship box. If a user selects "Many to Many" from the Properties panel, saves and closes their file, they will not be able to open their file again.
