hi all,   i use the sankey chart from microsoft with simple count of categories but there seems to be something wrong. i have table like:       For A i get following results:   Destination: 12 (thats right) Source: 7 (why not 5? seems like the two A from destination is add up to source)?   But the lines in the sankey charts are right again: A -- 2 --> A A -- 3 --> B   Can someone explain this behaviour? One can connect a Power BI report to another Power BI report for its data source. (Matt Allington calls this a thin workbook and a golden dataset). If you publish the thin workbook, go to it in the Power BI Service, click File>Save As, then a new report will be generated which is the thin workbook and the golden dataset merged together. However measures that were orginally local to the thin workbook cannot be viewed, edited or deleted in the new merged report. In fact trying to delete these measures you will get the error: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".   There is another problem with these "problematic" measures. Hi,   We have a local Power BI Reporting Portal (used to be Reporting Service) with lots of reports both PBI and Paginated. After latest January Power BI Server Update we are not able to change the data source for Paginated reports. Changed are just not saved without any errors.   If report was published before - it is working fine, but can't change data sources. We have been having an issue in PowerBI Service where I am unable to set up a scheduled refresh. I keep getting an error message telling me that it failed to update the data source credentials for my dataset.       The report file (.pbix) is published and is linking to a Sharepoint list, when working in PowerBI Desktop I do not have any issues manually refreshing directly from Sharepoint using Organization authentication. Prezados, há algum tempo quando tenta-se abrir o Power Query através do PowerBI Desktop o Power Query trava e com isto trava também o PowerBi Desktop, o que faz com que tenha que reiniciar. Às vezes é necessário quatro a cinco tentativas para que ele conecte o Power Query e permita a edição da consulta. Isto tem sido constante e faz com que haja muito tempo perdido. Colour scale conditional formatting on bar charts and tree maps works fine with the new experience in RS January 2019 Desktop application however the visuals are not rendering upon upload to the Report Server itself.    Just an empty chart with the little spinning circle in the corner...   Also, any current reports that were using visuals with a measure in the "colour saturation" bucket have lost all conditional formatting therefore will need to be re-designed, not very helpful for business. ... I have a matrix table with two levels. In the powerbi desktop, it is set to expand all levels so everytime I access the bookmark, all the levels should be displayed as you can see:   Asia      Japan      China      Vietnam Europe      France      Spain     I save and update the bookmark with all levels expanded but when I open the file two minutes later, I see sometimes, only Asia and Europe (level 2 is not expanded). Sometimes, is expanded. I have the same problem in the power bi service. Can I set up the default view as "all level expanded"? Is any way to control how the data should be displayed? Thank you ... I noticed an issue with the drill down feature in the Power BI Service. It is not applying existing filters (in cross-filtering in charts) when drilling down.  I have tested this in different workspaces, with different reports and datasets, and the issue is consistent.    I found the same issue was posted back in 2016 and it seemed to have been a systemic issue.
