When using the new relative date slicer, the date range displayed does not use the specific format selected for the column used in the slicer. Instead, the default short date format for the system locale seems to be used. For example, I have a column of data type "Date" with a yyyy-MM-dd format selected. Despite this, I am seeing a displayed date range like the following when using the slicer: "04/03/2017 - 03/05/2017". While placing REST API in browser, it's returning JSON content from VSTS.   But the same URL used in Power BI desktop as data source (as web) is returning error (we found an extra character in JSON while making it JSON.Document at advanced editor).   If I save the output from browser in file, then power bi can read the content as JSON.    I am not sure what is causing the problem. is the something because of secure URL?   The colour saturation does not work in the filled map function. Despite any value in the Colour Saturation field, the saturation in the map stays the exact same. In he follwing example evey city has a value of 1 (Distinct count city), but every city has a different colour saturation.    Can we get this fixed? Curios observation here that's somewhere between feature and bug.    I have mysql database running on a server that can only be tunnelled into and once the tunnel is open (via SSH) the connection to the database doesn't require a password. I have streaming dataset, which I attempted to change a field from "Text" to "Number". This popped up an error, which I didn't think to save. I had worked with multiple users in April to set up email subscriptions for several reports. They were receiving the daily email up until the beginning of May. Hi, The legend field in the 'map' visual is not working properly since the may update. I used to be able to choose which color a range was assigned in the legend but since the last update (may) this is not working anymore. Hi,   I'm working on some SAP data and I noticed strange thing about filters.   1st screen shows what I see when I first display available values, please not that we do see here "9660 (Multipurpose materials FG)" which is correct because you can also see it on the list behind (yes, I refreshed that list).     Then I pressed "Load more" to see all values and suddenly '9660 (Multipurpose materials FG)" disappeared but they are still visible in the background on the list (all sources refreshed).     When I set filter to display only "9660..." - it worked correctly.     Any idea why this could happen ?   Regards, Darek ... I used an excel file thats on my computer to create a report. I scheduled a refresh at 5 am daily but it keeps sending me Refresh Failure emails. Like:  The last refresh attempt failed. Your Personal Gateway is offline or could not be reached. The last refresh attempt failed. Your Personal Gateway is offline or could not be reached. Ensure the Gateway computer is on and you are logged on to it during the scheduled refresh period. I tried to change the scheduled refresh time so that my computer is logged into when Power BI tries to refresh BUT it wont let me change the refresh settings! In the setiings it asks me to Edit credentials for the excel dataset BUT when click on "Edit credentials > Sign in" Nothing happenes... the cursor keeps spinning. What could be the reason for this? How do I solve this issue? PS. Scheduled refresh was working fine when I was just using Sharepoint online list as my data source. But when I added an excel file from my PC , the refresh stopped working. ... View more

  The following formula works on the dekstop, but seems to fail in the service:     DATES_TEST = FILTER( OpenCharging, OpenCharging[Subperiod_Ending_Date] IN DATESINPERIOD( OpenCharging[Subperiod_Ending_Date], now(), -4, MONTH))   Substituting this instead gets things working again.     RecentCharging = FILTER ( OpenCharging, OpenCharging[Entry_Age] < 16 )   I added some measures to my dashboard to isolate the problem...  Hypothesis: The service is not properly filtering the DATES_TEST table, but the filter DOES work on my desktop.   Here's the service: and the desktop   Notice that the DATES_ROW_COUNT is correct on the desktop, but that same table is blank on the service.   Hopefully others are seeing this problem and can confirm, leading to a quicik bug fix.       ...
