To be able to retrieve (RLS)roles and associated users/groups in a semantic model through the PostWorkspaceInfo API endpoint, the following conditions must be met:
- both options "datasetExpressions=True" and "datasetSchema=True" must be specified in the URI Parameters
- in Power BI Admin both settings "Enhance admin APIs responses with detailed metadata" and "Enhance admin APIs responses with DAX and mashup expressions" must be enabled
This causes of lot of overhead to be retrieved (all DAX expressions, table, columns, etc). There should be a way to simply retrieve the role names and associated users/groups without any overhead.
