Power BI Web Part not working in SharePoint Online Site Page (GCC)

We are trying to embed a Power BI Report into a SharePoint Online Site Page, through a Teams site using the Microsoft document "Embed a report web part in SharePoint Online".

I have a published Power BI report located in My Workspaces. I open the report and select "File" > "Embed Report" > "SharePoint Online". I copy the report URL.

In one of my Team channels, I select "Files" > "Open in SharePoint". From there I clicked "Pages" on the left navigation and "New" > "Site Page" from the top navigation.

In the new site page, I enter a site name in the top section, and add a new Power BI web part. I then paste the URL into the Power BI report link field.

After pasting the Power BI report link, the Page Name and the Display fields DO NOT auto-populate as they should. The report web part is NOT rendered, and the page body is blank after publishing the page.

I am however able to successfully embed the report using the secure embed web part in SharePoint and using the embed in a website or portal HTML code from Power BI.

I have an Office 365 G5 GCC license with SharePoint Plan 2G and Power BI Pro for Government. I am not the admin of either Power BI or SharePoint. I am an end-user.  According to Microsoft documentation, this is a feature that should be available with GCC.

For additional troubleshooting, the web embed web part source URL string includes "&autoAuth=true", while the Power BI web part link does not. Pasting these links directly into a browser window results in 2 different results. The report will display correctly in a browser with the Auth portion, but not without it. Adding the &autoAuth=true parts to the Power BI web part link field, still doesnt make it work.

Also TCP Port 443 is open and SharePoint is confiured to use Modern Pages.  We get the same results using IE, Edge and Chrome.

This is an orgnization-wide issue impacting all users. While the embed web part is a suitable work-around, Senior Leadership wants to know WHY we cannot use the Power BI web part.

I am unable to replicate the issue in my commercial environment.  It works as it should.

Could you please consider providing more details about it? Have you set any filters/slicers for this report in Power BI Service before you embed this report in SharePoint online?

In addition, did the web embed web part represent the url of SharePoint online and the Power BI web part represent the url of the report in Power BI Service or anything else? If so, seems like both of them did not have this string when I published the repotr to My Workspace and embed report to SharePoint online directly without setting any url filters or other operations.
