Power BI Data Mart SQL Database Connection

I am trying to set up a Data Mart in Power BI for our database. I keep getting the following error while trying to connect: An exception occurred: An error occurred while communicating with another service, please try again later. If this problem recurs, please contact support with this message. (Request ID: 1d27d4f1-9ef4-4404-a4d6-aad2428161e1) (Session ID: ce9ad571-3f42-4299-bc80-71b548a5a4dd, Region: us)

Is the database you want to connect to located locally, or is it located in another server?
