Installation Problem for Power BI and SQL

Hi there,

Hope this message finds you well.

When I tried to install Power BI desktop and SQL Server 2019 Express version recently, they always failed with the notification of 

"Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\..... Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel" with screenshots below for your reference.

Could you please advice what I could do next to install the two applications?

Hi @Doris_ji ,

You need to make updates to the permissions in the registry to allow the current use to install.

Note: 

Before making any modifications to the Microsoft Registry Editor, it is strongly recommended that you make a backup of the existing registry.
