Gantt Chart Microsoft - No dropdown tasks shown for some of the projects

Dear experts,

 

I am using Microsoft Gantt Chart. Some of the projects didn't have expanded tasks being displayed. The parent column is populated automatically from the project title from another table. And the top phase has exact same name with the parents.

What kind of effect do you want to achieve? Can you provide your sample for reference?

Hi Ailsa,

 

We would like to display projects in Gantt visual where when the project is expanded, it will show all the tasks related to it. In the example above, I have 2 projects (cycle 2022 and cycle 2023).

 

For cycle 2023, it works fine. We can see the expand symbol (+) and see all the tasks related to cycle 2023.

For cycle 2022, there's no expand symbol and we cannot see the tasks. Out of hunderd of projects only 4 have this issue.

 

We have checked that the values in the parent field is exactly the same with the value in the root phase.

We also include the raw data for reference. Let us know if further information is needed.
