Data Source Error - Cache Entry Size Limit

Beginning two weeks ago, certain dataset refreshes are now failing with the data source error message of "Data source errorWe're sorry, an error occurred during evaluation.;The evaluation reached the allowed cache entry size limit. Try increasing the allowed cache size.. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface."

I tried clearing the cache and increasing the cache size in the pbix file, but no luck.  I am able to manually refresh the pbix file and publish to the workspace, but the automated or manual refreshed in the service fail.

The datasource included in the pbix include: SQL and SharePoint Excel files.

Any ideas on how to address this issue or when it will be resolved?

Have you turned on Query Caching?

Organizations with Power BI Premium or Power BI Embedded can take advantage of query caching to speed up reports associated with a dataset. Query caching can also reduce load on your Premium/Embedded capacity by reducing the overall number of queries.

We currently do not have a Premium license and are working with Pro.  Are there any other workaround to address this issue?  The dataset includes a lot of transformations (appendings, etc) in the applied steps.  If I were to move these to to a dataflow, would that help with this issue?

I am getting the same issues but its linked to a Dataflow:

The table its self its a Onedrive Excel size 406mb with over 6M rows.

Which can be the fix for this?

I have the same issue, the datasource only from Sharepoint, previously automatic update is working just fine but suddenly a week ago it stop working, refresh process in PBI Desktop is working but when published to the workspace and start ti refresh from web service, it raise error :
