Power Bi App not recognize Webview2

Hello,

I'm not sure if this issue is correlated to an earlier post referencing Webview 2 crashing but some of my users are reporting this error in the screenshot.

Now, the weird thing is webview 2 is already installed on their systems. I've tried repairing it, uninstalling and reinstalling it and still same error. So then I tried resetting app, didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still same issue.

Note: This NOT the desktop version but rather the app version installed through microsoft store.

Hi @MPicha ,

WebView2 must be installed at the machine level rather than per user. To install WebView2 at the machine level, install WebView2 as an administrator, as described in the steps below.

1. Uninstall WebView2 if you just installed it. Don't delete the download file. If you deleted the download file, download WebView2 again.

2. Right click the WebView2 download and select Run as administrator.

After installing WebView2 as an administrator, close the Power BI Windows app and then open it again.

so for two users it has been installed at the machine level and running fine. However anothe ruser using a Surface Pro X is still encountering the error. Now I noticed that its an ARM processor so I installed the ARM version but it still doesn't work. Perhaps you could provide a little more insight?
