Custom Label do not work with reverse stack order

PowerBI has just introduced Measure driven data labels in their May 2023 Update, and it is a great feature to visualize.

 

I have used the feature to create a visualization.

The custom labels work great. However, I want to reverse the stack order to match the legend order.

 

When I turn on Reverse stack order, it shows like this.

The percentage shows the right value, but the columns do not reflect it (it says 0% for legend E, but the column height is for legend A)

 

I think this is a bug for new features like this. I hope it will be solved in the near future.

By my test, the height is not corresponding to the data label.

But my concern is, just for the function "reverse stacked order", if I use the default data label instead of measure driven data, it performs the same as resort legend. I think it's the correct result. As after we reverse stack order, the color of each legend did not change, if the data label also don't change, it will not be the correct data.

Hi @v-yanjiang-msft ,

I think you misunderstood my ideas.

I want to REVERSE ONLY THE STACK ORDER, not also the SORT LEGEND. Because when we sort the legend, the stack order will also be reversed. I just want 1 thing (Stack Order or Legend) to change.

Sorry I'm not quite clear what's "reverse only the stack order" means, in my understanding stack order and legend are the same.

Hi @v-yanjiang-msft, 

This is the "Reverse stack order" that Power BI released in October 2022. It allows stacked column to be flipped without changing the legend order.

Yes, it didn't correspond to the measure-driven data only. When I use the default data label, it will work as intended.
