I can't seem to find any setting for changing the width of a border around a visual, only the option for colour and how rounded the edges are:
It would be great if we could change the border width too.

It is true that this feature is not currently supported by PBI Desktop . You can vote the idea and comment there to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
