When using the new filter pane, the checkmark icon is not respecting the icon color setting. It is always black regardless of the setting. Under the filter card settings, I have "Front + icon color" set to white. Even with this setting, the checkmark is still black.   Here is a photo of my normal report filter:   The user cannot see the checkmark. If I change the background to a lighter color they can see the checkmark:   All of our reports have a dark theme, so this makes it difficult for us to use the new filter pane. Hi   When I change the font size for data labels or x/y-axis, the datalabels stay very small. In this example I changed font size to 30 px for datalabels and x/y-axis but the size didn't increase which makes data labels very small in comparison with the charts. After opening a PBI file, the first time I zoom in on the Model tab, the scroll bars disappear until I resize the model canvas.  I have to either adjust the size of the Properties bar of the Field bar to get the scroll bars back.   The view also starts off at a zoom level where nothing is distinguishable.  It should start out at 100% so I can read what the title is of each table and quickly scroll left / right to find my tables.  It would also be much better if the data sets loaded in 2 or more rows by default instead of a single row. ... Windows 10 - v. 1809 Power BI Desktop v. 2.67.5404.981 32-bit   I've had this problem for a few months, but haven't been able to find the exact rhyme or reason to it. Here's the steps that I JUST took to cause it. Opened PBI desktop, connected to excel spreadsheet, cliked "edit" once it loaded. Note: This also has happened with oracle datasources, and not just on the initial querying of the datasource. Removed a handful of columns Applied query changes After the changes applied, No buttons on the home ribbon were clickable, nor could I click on a different ribbon. Power BI Desktop (64 bit) is losing the layout of the model if you save a file without altering the pre-existing model.   To recreate: 1. Open an existing .pbix file containing a model you have laid out nicely. 2. Go to modelling tab and observe correct layout. 3. Press Save. 4. Close Power BI Desktop. 5. Re-open same .pbix file 6. Go back to modelling tab, and the layout has been completely messed up and 'auto-arranged'.   I've found a work-around: If you make sure you change the layout - even slightly - say, move a table a couple of pixels, and then save - your new layout persists.  It only happens if you don't change the model!   Our model is Imported, using a custom connector.   I've had this problem in Feb and March releases, and is still present in the latest (April?) release: 2.68.5432.661   This is a critical bug, as we need to distribute the models to our clients, and we don't want to have to tell them to wiggle a table in the model before saving any new reports they've added! ... Dear all,   I had this issue on my former laptop and tried to solve this with changing the bits version installed on my pc. Sadly enough I was not able to solve the problem like this. I saw though that my computer was really using a lot of memory to make POWER BI work.   So I ordered a new pc with lots of memory inside to finally be able to use POWER BI, to end up with the same issues. I load two excel files into power BI, I sort some colums A to Z,  and I get the error message again.   Please advise, as I was so keen on using this program after a course and find me now ending up with a broken system.   Thanks a lot for your help,   I have now a 32 bits system of power bi and office PC is windows 10, i7 processor, 64 bits and 16GB RAM. A dataset using MySQL on AWS as source have worked for several months without any problem but since beginning of this week we can't set credentials for the source. When the credentials are set and you continue with "Sign In" the "weel" just keeps spinning. If we create a new datasource from the same source in Power BI Destop it workes fine. Hello everybody, Since 3 days the access to all my Reports for my guest users doesn't work (probably since the last update of April of PowerBI Desktop). When the guests try to access all the Reports that i shared with them, appears the popup that says "you have not the permission to access the Data Set, contact the administrator". I can't understand why it doesn't work. it always worked until three days ago. In my administration panel i can see that my guest users still have the "Read" permission both for the report and the dataset. Does anyone else have the same problem? It seems there is a bug with the standard slicer. If we have it set to single-select the eraser is gone completely. For us, we want to look at single-select or everything. However, when single-select is "on" we cannot look at all or unselect the one item. Okay, so I work around this new "feature" by using the multi-select with CTRL setting. Okay, if somebody wants to select more than one item, it's okay, but they have to do it consciously by holding CTRL and not accidentally selecting more than one. However, flipping between pages, sometimes the eraser goes away and sometimes it doesn't. If it is gone, I can open the selection controls, verify the multi-select with CTRL setting is on and then the eraser reappears, BUT only temporarily. It seems to disappear again when moving between tabs in the report. This may seem like a small issue, but it is a major issue for our users. Please FIX. ... View more

Hi I have a powerBI report on powerBI Service which gets its data from sharepoint online, with 2 users (userA and userB) accessing the report and the dataset for the report is configured by userA. When userA chooses the option to refresh now the dataset refreshes but if userB tries to refresh the dataset he gets an error saying "Can't refresh your data the credentials you provided for the data source are invalid" but userB could refresh the day before and only now this error pops up. Furthermore if userB takes over the dataset then userB can refresh the dataset but userA can't refresh the dataset anymore. Is there a solution to have both users be able to refresh the dataset. Hey All,      So recently after i updated to the March release. I've noticed an issue with the Page level filters section on the sidebar.  When I opent he report file im working on it works for for a while, but then randomly after a period of time the filters that were present in the page level filters box, duplicate themselves, and this duplication eventually shows up in the filters pane after a period of time.  In an attempt to clean up the duplicates i click the X in the corner to remove one of the extra filters, but by removing one the other is also removed.        I've attached screen shots to describe what I mean.  Again this is random and sometimes it doesnt and sometimes it does.  After Duplication Glitch What its supposed to look like Duplication in Filters Pane ...
