add REST API to GW to set automatic refresh

Added the API as WEB data source connection, all works great on PBI desktop.

 

Authorization type is Anonimous.

 

I publish the report and wish to set an automatic refresh, in order to do so, need to add new connection the GW, so here is the problem, got this error:

Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to. Details: "We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster. Please find more details below about specific errors for each gateway instance.

 

I would appreciate a lot your help in this issue, how I add the API to the GW?

Update:

 

I was able to find a solution to my problem, here are the steps:

 

1. I put the full URL link, for some reason when you do "add to the GW" from GW connection, the URL is not full.

2. Used Basic Authorization method and broke up my into user and pass using  https://www.base64decode.org/

in the GW clusters

3. Did no assign a new source to the "Maps to:" in the GW connection.

4. Refresh and automatic schedule refresh works without problems.
