VSTS refresh timeout

Schedule refresh of dataset or schedule refresh does not work anymore. Here is the message:

Hi @ccPower,

 

Please go to dataset settings, verify the credential specify for the data sources are correct. And the schedule refresh is turn on. If credentials are fine, please refresh manually for the dataset to see if refresh can be completed successfully.

Tried that already. No refresh works - scheduled or manual. All fails in timeout.

What Qiuyun suggested did not yield a solution. Problem is still occuring and has for months now. How can this get escalated or can you provide an alternaitve we use for VSTS reporting? Maybe Tableau?

 

This seems to have to do with the size of the data in VSTS, which PowerBi cant handle. May I suggest you provide the ability to select the amount of data by date (eg. Last 30, 60 or 90 days) to avoid this issue?
