Users still have access to report even after removing access.

I granted access to a report/semantic model using report level permissions. I granted direct access on the report/semantic model to an AD group. This morning, I removed the access for the AD group from both the report and the semantic model. In the fabric capacity metrics I can see the users in that group are still interacting with the report 2 hours after removing access. How is this possible?

Hi  @Anonymous ,

 

Users might still have access due to cached permissions. This can happen if the system has not yet updated the cached permissions to reflect the recent changes. If it does not help,

I would suggest opening a Support Ticket.Ticket support engineers will take your issue back to the PG team.

If you are a Power BI Pro or Fabric licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you. 
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.
