Hi,
I have encountered an error with the data labels in my line and stacked column chart. When I put an attribute in the column legend well of the visual to group the data displayed in my stacked columns, the data labels for the series of the line data stop working as intended. Without the column legend I can use a custom measure inside the Data labels > Value to display my custom data label, but once I add the the column legend, the data label for the line reverts to just showing the raw data value. I also lose the ability to add details to the value. Note that I can still edit the data label for all series, but any changes I make only affect the labels for the column data, not the line data.
To show this behaviour I added a dummy measure that just returns 'test':
Which results in this display:
Once I clear the column legend it goes back to this:
I can't figure out why the data label setting of the value for the series of the line data does not use the measure I want it to, only because I added a column legend.
Thanks a bunch for any help.
I am using Power BI Desktop: Version: 2.139.2054.0 64-bit (Januar 2025)
