Updated App Issue

I have recently added an additional report to the upgraded app, added the users who need to view, but the users are unable to see the report.  They can see it listed in the list panel, but they are receiving "Permission Required", You cannot see the content of this report because you do not have permissions to the underlying dataset.  Please contact the dataset owner to request access".  These 2 users are the dataset owners.  The dataset is Smartsheet.  Any ideas?

Try following steps:

1 add them to be your workspace role where app located

2 choose your dataset and click "manage permissions"

We have the same issue. The only solution is to share the report directly with them or add them to the workspace. This happens for every new report that we add to the app. All the old (pre app upgrade) reports maintain their permissions. I've added the same report to a new workspace and app and the permission works fine.

 

For me this issue is persistent and repeatable.
