Suddenly Border displayed on the slicer in the workspace

 

Hey Team, I am sharing you the Screen shot how slicers looks like before and after ,we are facing the issue in all our dashboard in the workspace please help .suddenly border start appearing in workspace.png

A new production Issue is added in Power BI Known Issue list.

Engineers are working on the fix, ETA will be updated once available.

Im having the same issue with my dashboards. Is there a fix to this? Changing the border to white in the power bi service doesnt do anything as well.

Same issue on all of our reports last December.

The slicer value inner border is often considered when picking the actual slicer background and/or visual background. The border looks loud that it can be distracting in the overall report view.

 

Either revert back to the old faded setting or allow us to change the actual border.

Are you still investigating this issue and can you already reproduce it?

Hello @v-xiaoyan-msft 

This change affected not only the power bi service, but also our embedded application.

This visual change left the border thicker, it would be better to let the user set, this change got very ugly.

Please resolve this ASAP. 

and the slicer border looks inconsistent sometimes. See below. some with light color whereas others with a dark border. This looks terrible.

Some sort of communication from MS would be appreciated.

 

Is this a bug or not? What is MS investigating here?

 

It's really difficult to design a report when it looks different in Desktop versus shared to end users.

For us, it's resolved since a week ago.
