Script Runtime Error for Python Visuals

I saw yesterday that there was a known issue with python visuals not loading, and checked the power bi status page this morning to see the issue gone. Unfortunately today all my python visuals are still not rendering and returning the 'script runtime error' message with no specifics. These reports have been published/working for months and are now broken. Is the issue resolved? Is there something else I need to do on my end to fix it? I have tried republishing and deleting the dataset/republishing and nothing seems to work. Thanks.

Hi @mjsteele12 ,

 

According to the scheduled fix, fix for issue of loading Python visuals was deployed by end-of-day 4/24/2022. May I know whether you still have issue on loading such visual? Which cluster region are you located? If you clear cookie and cache of your browser and try again, will you still have this problem?

Hi Caiyun,

 

I tried clearing all browser data as well as using a new browser I have never visited power BI service from and the visuals are still not loading. It appears that within my organization others are able to view the visuals now, but the problem remains for me.

Is this report configured RLS? What’s your role in the report workspace? Could you please check your permissions to this report as well? If there is any popped error, could you please copy and paste here? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with my python visuals:

Also using RLS (Row Level Security), I've got Admin access to all the visuals.

I've tested with Client access and it doesn't work neither.

My permissons are member (Owner). Other users with member (Owner) are able to view the visuals. There is no RLS configured as far as I can tell.

The issue was resolved yesterday. I/my organization did not change anything, it just started working. Sorry I cannot provide any hints as to what was causing it!
