Scatter Chart Visual Sorting Bug

There would appear to be a definite problem in the Scatter Chart visual where sorting has been set by the value on the X-Axis, and there is a specified category in the "Legend".

The sorting appears to change the defined sort order to include the category first when there is a null for either of the category.  I have attached the sample solution here SAMPLE

The solution shows that the visual is definitely set to order by the Month/Year.

Remove the legend field and the scatter shows the X-Axis in order correctly.

Add back in the legend and the scatter would appear to be sorting by Legend/X-Axis.

The data behind the Visual is sorted perfectly - not just the Visual.

I dont see why it wouldnt be able to show in the order specified to be shown.

What's the "specified order" you mentioned? Could you please share more details?

I am not sure what else you need - I supplied a link to a sample PBIX that shows the issue.

The sorting for the visual is by the Month-Year.

The Data Behind the visual orders correctly.

The Visual itself though and the X - Axis is not in the Month Year order its being told to sort in.

It appears as though the Visual sorts by the legned field first, then Month-Year.
