Power Query window disappears when using from folder

For many months now ( 6+ )  whenever you use Get Data from Folder and choose the Edit Option the Power Query Editor window disappears behind the main screen and it looks like nothing has happened.

 

You just need to minimise the screen to see the Power Query editor window but this catches our new-comers all the time.

 

Can this behaviour be fixed

I'm not sure what you mean that "the Power Query Editor window disappears behind the main screen and it looks like nothing has happened.". Could you post some screenshots?

 

Besides, have you tried the latest version of Power BI desktop to see if problem persists?

Hi @v-yulgu-msft , it's the Combine and Edit that causes the issue

I train people how to use Power BI and Power Query.  This issue raised by Wyn happens ALL THE TIME.  I am sure I can give you steps to reproduce if needed.  Just let me know.
