Power BI Calendar Date Selection Issue

Hi Team,

I am using date slicer with between functionality, as by default power bi don't have MTD range setting i have implemented a custom filter to show MTD but its was allowing us to select date dynamically out of the range before March Release.

Now i am not able to select date out of this range, only MTD is getting default.

To set the MTD filter i have created a custom column in the date dimension and added it as filter.

DT_Range_MTD =

IF(FORMAT(dim_date[Date],"yyyymm")=FORMAT(TODAY(),"yyyymm") && dim_date[Date]<=TODAY(),1,0 )

Please bring MTD, YTD features in the Power BI feature Releases. This is the Major Business requirement.

At present, slicer does not have the function of MTD, YTD, you can only achieve it by creating DAX. You can post your thoughts on the Ideas forum, maybe in the near future, Microsoft will implement this feature .
