Persistent Error while creating measures

I keep on getting this error while creating a new measure.  The same error message pops up in what appears to be an endless loop and my only recourse is to kill PowerBI in Task Manager.

Hi @State0fBeing ,

I did a simple test but it doesn't seem to reproduce your error, is it possible to provide more details? For example what data source are you using? Connection mode?
Also, does it work if you roll back to a previous version?
Does this problem only occur with the current report?

The error did not recur after killing Power BI and restarting with a new file.  It appears to be a corrupted file
