Did you get an error opening PBI Desktop, or did you get an error opening the pbix file ? Were you able to open PBI Desktop properly before ? Have you done any updates to PBI Desktop ? If it's an error opening a pbix file, can anyone else open this pbix file normally ?

Yes, I received an error when opening PBI Desktop. When I sent the .pbix file to someone else, they were able to open it without any issues.

The error occurs the first time I try to open PBI Desktop, and after that, the application doesn't open at all unless I reinstall it. However, even after reinstalling, it only opens once before the issue reoccurs.

It looks like you're having problems with PBI Desktop, how did you install PBI Desktop? Did you download your installer from Download Center? Does your current system environment meet the deployment requirements of PBI Desktop?

Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center

It is recommended that you uninstall PBI Desktop from the Control Panel and then download the latest installer to install it.

Power BI Desktop has been updated to version :2.132.908.0 (August 2024) . You can download the latest version and try again .
