Hi,
I have experienced that PBID files that are encoded as UTF-16 cannot be opened in PowerBI desktop.
If I convert the file manually to UTF 8 (for example using notepad++), the file can be opened with no issues.
But it is not a solution for me, since the file is autogenerated (for hundred of users) and send as attachment (base 64 encoded) using Azure GraphAPI send mail.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/user-sendmail?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http
I do not know, if this is a PowerBI or an Azure Graph API issue, but buttonline is, that I cannot autogenerate mails with PBIDS attachments.
Or am I doing it wrong?
Best regards,
Morten
