With the Matrix visual. Applying setting in the Format panel - layout and style presets > Style is set to "None", then within the Values box selecting two of the same colors within the "Text Color" and "Alternative Text Color" fields (so as to not have alternating row colors) both colours change to be grey regardless of whatever color is chosen in both text colour values.
Choosing white text, both turn grey, selecting both to be blue text, both turn grey. Selecting one to be red and one to be blue, then colours are displayed.
This appeared to be fixed within the August 2024 release, but has since reverted back.

What version of PBI Desktop are you using?I tested with 2.132.1053.0 64-bit (August 2024) and when I set two different colors, the text is displayed according to the set color. When I choose two same colors, the text in row is displayed in gray. Is the result of my test the same problem as what you are feeding back? You mentioned This appeared to be fixed within the August 2024 release, can you elaborate on the exact version?
