Matrix Visual Formatting Issues (Different view in different laptops)

Hello,

I have a financial dashboard where there are 12 matrix visuals overlapped on each other. There are some text boxes also overlapping the matrix visuals. It is often observed that the same report gets displayed differently in different laptops. The lines keep changing, overlapping text boxes are often misplaced. I've tried grouping the items together but the situation remained same. I'm attaching screenshots regarding how the visuals are getting displayed in different laptops. PowerBI Desktop version, laptop models are same. Not sure why this is happening. Kindly provide some fix.

Try to set page view settings to "Actual size", then adjust these visuals and text boxes,

now see if it works,

if still have the problem, share your sample pbix file for us have a test.

Hi Lin,

Thanks for the response. I'm sharing a sample PBIX file for your reference (Dropbox link attached). This file contains overlapped matrix visuals, labels, lines etc. The requirement is to replicate a excel sheet.

I'm attaching two screenshots of the same file viewed at different laptops. The overlapping textboxes, lines are almost always misaligned. We are using the same version of PowerBI Desktop everywhere.

Kindly suggest workarounds.

Hello Lin,

What is the reommendation? The file you shared with me (one drive link) has 3 tabs and I can see that the formatting is not same for all. I'm attaching the screenshots for your reference.

Should we just stick to one viewing format and align everything? Kindly assist. This report will be viewed by our company CEO and needs to be perfect.

These all work on my side, my power bi desktop version is 2.91.701.0 64-bit (March 2021)

please update the power bi desktop to latest version then try it again.

and if still have the problem, you could submit a support ticket to get further help.
