Hi,

MailChimp integration is not happening and I have found some thread saying the issue is on the MailChimp End. But the blog is from 2017. Requesting to post if someone has any update.

The following is the error I am seeing:
We couldn't install MailChimp

Hi @kishan235,

Please open Power BI desktop and choose Mailchimp connector to see if you are able to retrieve data. 

Also please open Mailchimp content pack template file in desktop to see if the same issue occurs.

Hi, I've had no success getting the MailChimp app to load data in the Service.  I get the same "Failed to Load Data" error each time I try.

Also tried downloading the Mailchimp content pack template file in desktop.  It establishes a connection with 

MailChimp, then hangs.

Has anyone been successful getting MailChimp to work with PowerBI?

Hi,

I maybe you should look into other integrated options to avoid such issues. I suggest you look into Touchdown for D365 & PowerApps. Here's their website for more info if you like https://www.touchdown.co/dynamics-mailchimp-integration-en/

Hi @kishan235 Since Mailchimp native integration is not available anymore, you will to look for another option. As a workaround, maybe you can use a 3rd party connector, it can save you a lot of time compared to other options. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Mailchimp connector in the data sources list:

After that, you will have to first create a secret API key in your Mailchimp account and then using your credentials add your account to the platform.

Once you’ve done this, you can proceed and go to the “Preview and destination” step

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
