Line Chart axis values are aggregating issues

Hi Power Bi Team,

Could you just fix your Line Chart issue???? It's really ridiculous that Power Bi can't differentiate between measures and dimensions automatically. Even after cleaning my data and changing the field variables to DON'T SUMMARIZE and setting my data to the correct types, Power bi is still counting the data. Moreover, sometimes it shows data without any aggregation (which is the correct data that I want) and sometimes it shows aggregated data under the same settings. Really Powerbi ???? I'm sick and tired of your inconsistency. You say Powerbi is so powerful blah blah but it can't show simple data

Status: Investigating

Hi @Lena9909 ,

Do you mean if we set the data summarization of the column to "Don't summarize", then put the column to line chart Y-axis, it will automatically be aggregated.

If so, it's normal for a line chart. The chart represent the changing trend, aggregate for the Y-axis is required.
