Language Date BUG

Hello!

Yesterday my Power BI desktop changed the language for dates in general out of the blue.

It remains in 'dd/mm/yyyy' order, but all the months are in English.

I have being trying to fix this issue about setting my Date to standard portugues (Brazil) format and I am convinced it is a BUG.

I have set EVERYTHING explained on Microsoft's support page... But the issue/bug persists.

(https://docs.microsoft.com/pt-br/power-bi/fundamentals/supported-languages-countries-regions#choose-...)

Tried change language and region in PB;

Tried change language and region in Windows settings;

Also tried the same in browser;

All is set as Portugues (Brazil) with no other language installed.

I have set a simple calendar in DAX to demonstrate.

And ok, using DAX I can use "pt-BR" but that was not needed before. After all, it was supposed to be Portuguese (Brazil) as standard since it was set this way.

Thank you for any help.

If relaunch Power BI Desktop still has the same issue, please consider sharing a dummy sample file which could reproduce this issue for further.

I have the same problem with the language in "Español".

The names of the fields and the texts of the months of the CALENDAR table are in English.

Is there any solution?

@v-yingjl
Hello everyone...
Sorry for the long delay...

Tried every suggestion above, but the problem persists.

Link for the dummy file: https://we.tl/t-G7DcfGOKaD

It is a simple pbix file with DAX Calendar... the same problem is present in all of my other projects... And I am using two different machines, both pt-BR with no English language installed.

The Calendar has four columns, CALENDAR(), MONTH(), FORMAT() and FORMAT(x,x,"pt-BR").

Thank you again for any help.

Diego very interesting solution, although it is desirable that it works as it did initially.
Thanks for sharing.

@Tarantino

Thank you for your reply.

Well... It would an OK solution but the problem is: I would have to load a DAX Calendar with new parameters using "pt-BR" in FORMAT() and etc etc... More data to load (although it is DAX and light on load)...
But pbix should not have this problem... MS Excel does not... lol
