Incorrect custom data labels if small multiples is enabled.

In the scsreenshot below, the correct data label should be as shown in the table but the  the data label the staced column chart picks up is for the first item in the legends.

Experiencing the same issue here; this needs to be fixed asap. Right now, using Small Multiples causes the 'Data labels' to display incorrect results. This applies to all three available components: - Title - Value - Detail At the very least, if this is not technically feasible to achieve, then Data Labels need to be disabled when using Small Multiples. The current situation is unacceptable.

We are experiencing the same issue, but with a clustered column chart having small multiples. Data label values are the same on all bars and appear to be based on the first bar that is shown.

 

The measure works fine when it's used on a regular table to return the different values for each category. Apparently the chart visual does not apply the filter of the X-axis field when evaluating the data label.

 

We are using Calculation Groups and looking at OP's example he is as well, so there could be an issue in the visuals that relates to how these are handled.

 

Our current Power BI Desktop version is 2.149.1429.0 (November 2025)
