Filter losing value after publishing report to the portal

I have a predefined filter on my visuals, set on a single value. selection is getting reset after publishing the report to the portal. Also, tried to edit the report on the portal, update the filter and save the report but same behavior. This 'Id' field is not used on the visual to show any info. It is used to filter the text for my tooltip page only.

I did a simple test based on the information you provided and it worked fine on my end.

Power BI Desktop Version: 2.114.803.0 64-bit (February 2023)
Power BI Service Version:13.0.20105.47
Browser: Microsoft Edge

I investigated by creating a new report with the same structure and model and it worked fine while the old one was still with the error.

 

in the end, had to delete the report from the Power BI cloud and now it is working fine with the fresh upload.

 

seems to be some issue in the cloud where the overwrite was having some issues.
