Every single pop up on my powerbi is completely unusable

They always show up cropped. I can usually just get rid of them by closing it by hovering over the powerbi icon, but now I actually want to create a group and i simply cannot. This shows up the same whether I do it on my external monitor or on my laptopCapture.PNG

Status: Investigating

Have tested with the same environment but still could not reproduce this issue in my side.

 

Have you tried to use the Web downloaded version of Power BI Desktop to check this issue?

 

If the Web downloaded version still has the same issue, we suggest that you can create a support ticket at the end of here for further help if this issue is urgent for you.

Basically it should be opened correctly in Power BI Desktop. Have you tried to re-open this report to check it or try to only open a single Power BI Desktop process to open this report to check.

 

In addition, have noticed that there is an update information in the right corner of Power BI Desktop so you can try to update to the latest version(2.102.845.0 Feb 2022) to check this issue again.

Reopening doesn't seem to do anything, and I've been having this problem for a while. Updating didn't do anything either, unfortunately

Did this issue only happen on your device or other devices also have the same issue?

 

If it only happens on your device, please consider sharing the environment of your device, for example, OS version, whether this version of Power BI Dekstop is downloaded from Microsotft store or the web page etc.

I've only tried it on my one laptop. It is a surface laptop 3, windows 10 enterprise version 10.0.19043, and powerbi was downloaded from the microsoft store, thank you

Sorry but this has not solved the problem. I have tried multiple installations. Actually it turns out my computer is a surface laptop 2, if that makes a difference. Unfortunately my report is missing key function because I realize now there are huge numbers of things I cannot do like this..

Evidently, someone else encountered this issue Power Query pop up windows cutting off - Microsoft Community and turned out they had their display scale too high. I have changed mine, and it has seemed to solve the problem, but it was quite hard to figure this out, in my opinion
