Visual in PowerBI web after publishing looks different than on PowerBI Desktop

Hello,

I have a matrix visual which is made very small, so it only shows the total values. Look, this is what I mean:

Which is cropped to this size:

However, after publishing, the visual looks like this:

jochemd96_2-1646813326746.png

So instead of the total column values, it shows the column headers. It slides the column headers on top of the values, even though in the Desktop version it's the other way around. I just don't get why it does this, and neither how to fix it. Because I tried setting the columm header color to white, etc. But then it just shows a white header line.

Does anybody know how to fix this? Please let me know!

Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Hi @jochemd96 ,

This issue has been submitted internally with ICM 295358407

Problem description:

The custom Matrix Visual layout in Power BI Service looks different when published than Power BI Desktop in that it does not show the total column values, but rather the column headings. It slides the column headers on top of the values, even though in the Desktop version it's the other way around.

The product team will be investigating this issue and once any updates are available, I will sync the information for you here.

Is it fixed today? I republished the report, but the issues doesn't seem to be fixed yet. Do I need to change anything?
