Composite Model - Calculated Table Page Refresh Issue

I'm looking to combined real time data with imported data. To do this I've created a composite model and then created a calculated table to merge the data. However, I have found that page refreshing this calculated table doesn't update due to the direct query data element.

 

Is it possible to look at getting the page refresh function to work with composite models so you can create realtime calculations between imported and direct query data sources?

It is a known limitation for now.

from the docs/blog:"

  • Some queries may return wrong results when there is a relationship between calculated tables and table(s) in a remote source. Creating calculated tables over a remote dataset is not supported although it is not currently blocked in the interface.
