Bug: PBI Build Pane not synced with Table/Matrix selection

Screenshot below: 

• "Build Pane" doesn't reflect visual (table/matrix) data selection at all

How can bug like this happen? The only way I could find to get it refreshed correctly is to close the PBI file and re-open it again, unbelievable.

I am using the latest PBI version > Version: 2.128.1177.0 64-bit (April 2024)

Hi  @QC 

Based on your description, I tested it in my Desktop and everything shows up fine, so I can't tell if it's a version issue. You can uninstall PBI Desktop in the Control Panel and then go to Download Center and re-download the installer to install it.
