Bookmarks disappearing from app

Sometimes the bookmarks disappear from the report app.  I am not sure why they would be lost.  What could cause the loss of a bookmark?

I can see the bookmarks in my Service . You mentioned sometime, so is there a possibility that the bookmarks set were deleted ?

We see our bookmarks but every so often they are gone.  We thought maybe when we publish the report or dataset it was making them disappear.  We just don't know the cause.
