BigQuery connection error

Hi,
I'm having issues getting BigQuery settings to appear when I set up a new connection.  I can select bigquery and try to connect, but then an error pops up with the details below.  Others on my team can connect but I specifically have issues.  I have uninstalled and tried reinstalling/restarting/etc.  Not sure where to go from here.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check your roles and permissions: To manage connections in BigQuery, you need certain roles and permissions. For example, to view connection details and list all connections, you need the BigQuery Connection User role on your dataset. To share, edit, or delete a connection, you need the BigQuery Connection Admin role on your connection.

Check the status of the BigQuery Connection API: Make sure that the BigQuery Connection API is enabled1.

Verify the service account: BigQuery creates and uses a service account to connect to your external data source. When you create a connection, a Google Cloud–managed Identity and Access Management (IAM) service account is created on your behalf.
