Apply All Slicers button issue

Hi Power bi users,

I am facing issue with Apply all slicers button, I have 10 + slicers in my report among those few are hierarchical data(Lets take as country and state).there will be no interaction between the visuals  until unless we click on Apply all slicers button. My requirment is I need iteraction with only slicers not other  visuals . If I filter country slicer ,all other country states also showing in the state slicer which is not good for end user. After making country slicer selection and clicking Apply All Slicer button only the state slicer is filtering . It is not good to click Apply All Slicer button everytime of the selection of Country slicer right.

please let me know if any possible way is there...

Hi @Sasidhar1 ,

By default, slicers on report pages affect all the other visualizations on that page, including each other. You can control which page visuals are affected by slicers.You can filter one slicer based on another. For example, if you select a country in one slicer, the state slicer can be updated to only show states from that selected country.

You may also use sync slicers so that filters set by the slicers are kept in sync. Make sure to select either “Sync field changes to other slicers”, “Sync filter changes to other slicers” or both depending on your scenario.

Thanks for your response.

This the default behaviour of Slicers but where as if we  use "Apply All slicers " button there wont be interactions betwen any visuals until unless if we click Apply All Slicer button. for every slicer selection we need to click Apply All slicer button , then the next slicers showing data which are related to our first slicer selection. It is not the good practice to click on that button for every slicer selection right ?
