missing Data View Option when getting data from SQL database

Hi All;

Normally; in the left hand side; we have 3 options for Report View, Data View and Relationship View.

when I get data from SQL database; I did not have Data View option.

Anyway; I tried to get data from Excel; there is no issue; Data View was there.

Can someone help?

What is your OS version? Are you using the Mar 2017 version of Power BI Desktop? I cannot repro the same issue as you on my side. My OS is Win10 x64. Could you please post a screenshot for your PBI Desktop?

I'm having the same issue when connected to SQL Server. OS is WIndows 10 x64. I'm running the most recent Power BI Desktop version as of 8/25.

I'm having the same problem but when I connect to a regultar transaction DB. I mean, like a regultar sales DDB. But when i connect to a SQL Server data base with a star model, dimensions and facts, i can see the data view...
