exporting data Issue

Hi,

I use powerbi desktop application to create my sales dashboards. When I have all data I need, I export it using the 3 dots. it creates a csv file where data are spread in different columns. Then I load these data into another excel file where I've created a specific table to welcome these raw data. Then I click on "refresh all" and all my data are automatically readable into the right section of my different tables.  However, since yesterday, I have an issue, when I export data from powerbi, all data are in one column (A) seperated with comma and not into differents columns like before. Because of that, when I load the raw data in my second excel file, data don't load into the different table. Even if use the function "Text to columns" in the first excel. Any idea how to reslove this issue ?  Thanks

Hi @Gia-gia ,

Do the testing, I export data in a table visual to CSV.file, and the result is right.

Can you show me some specific process and a screenshot of the problem?

Hi, @Anonymous,

I have this 2 files

I open them both. Then in the pbix I click on the 3 dots below:

I click on export data (exporter des données) :

Then it saves it under CSV File (only option available)

Then I open this file and all data are in column "A" like this:

As a complement, note that the excel file you see in the first screenshot is where I  implement data extracted from the csv file.

That said, I did not have any problems in my tests.
What is the visual you chose to use for exporting your data? What version of power bi desktop are you using?

Hi @Gia-gia ,

I didn't change anything on my table visual.

So you also export data from your table visual?

Is it convenient to show the corresponding visual of the data you want to export? Please be careful to avoid private data.
