Visual formatting

Within the last 2 updates there has been a change to the formatting pane when switching between visuals. The old behaviour was that if you were formatting the title under "General" and switched to another visual, the pane would default to the exact same place. That would allow to quickly update many visuals if you needed to change the title formatting, or the background, etc.

Now however, when you switch visuals the pane always resets to the "Visual" pane and you need to click again to get to "General".

Hi @michaelu1 ,

This is due to the design.

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for replying! Can you pleasse try this again? I assure you tis was not how PBI operated in the past.

I was always able to edit the background on a card, click on a new card, and then immediately be able to edit the background on the next card without any interim clicks.

Now it always switches you back to the "Visual" side of the formatting pane first.
